Inside you can watch the village baker as she swiftly and expertly forms rounds of soft, pliable dough. She then places them over an open flame and lets them bake into soft, luscious, enticing breads.
With the smell of warm, fresh pita permeating the air, appetites are awakened. How about ordering a picnic in a basket filled with delicious goodness of home-baked pita bread together with an assortment of condiments and spreads. The basket includes authentic olive oil, artisan olives, hyssop seasoning ground by hand, as well as soft labane goat cheese and local fruit preserves. Come grind wheat kernels into flour with traditional basalt millstones. Roll out the dough and bake over a fire. Our village people will assist you and show you how it’s done.
